The Audi RS Q8 has always been a more down-to-earth alternative to the Lamborghini Urus with blistering performance right out of the factory. For owners who want to be faster than the Italian SUV from Sant’Agata, O.CT Tuning is offering three levels of performance tuning for the RS Q8 bringing immense power figures.
Visually, the tuned RS Q8 isn’t much different from the stock model. In fact, the only difference is the 23-inch aluminum forged rims which save 8 kg (17.6 lbs) of unsprung weight per wheel and do a great job in filling up the wheelarches.
The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 of the RS Q8 produces 591 hp (441 kW / 599 PS) and 590 lb-ft (799 Nm) of torque in stock form. O.CT Tuning takes those figures up to a healthy 791 hp (590 kW / 802 PS) and 1,030 Nm (760 lb-ft) of torque. The increase was made possible thanks to the Performance 3 package that includes software optimization and a modified exhaust system offering a louder throaty sound.
The German tuner is also offering the lesser Performance 1 pack with 690 hp (515 kW / 700 PS) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) courtesy of ECU upgrades. Finally, there is the mid-spec Performance 2 pack taking the engine to 725 hp (541 kW / 735 PS) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) through ECU and intake system upgrades. OC.T Tuning hasn’t announced pricing for the packages but is already taking orders.
Those who are looking to tune their RS Q8 have plenty of options since besides OC.T Tuning, other companies have presented their own versions including ABT, Mansory, Manhart, Lumma Design, and JD Egnineering.
